A Page from the life of Anointed Messenger

Following is an excerpt from my journal. I pray that it blesses you in some way.

I just had another revelation. I used to get so much junk mail to Anointed Messages. Recently I discovered that the filter wasn’t set to weed out spam. I didn’t turn it on because I was afraid that it would mislabel new subscribers and put them in spam. I set it to put “bulk” in front of all messages it thought was spam. It was very accurate. All the spam had that bulk prefix. After observing consistent accuracy I set it to filter the spam. I haven’t had any problems at all. The spam goes to the bulk folder and the new subscribers still go to my inbox. I still check the bulk folder before emptying it to make sure I don’t miss anything I need.

That’s how we treat God. He tells us He will take care of us but we want to test Him first. We won’t turn everything over to Him until we see some accuracy and consistency. When we start to see that God is consistently right then we aren’t afraid to turn more over to Him. My email is so much easier to deal with since I started allowing the filter to do what it is designed to do. When I tried to do it myself it was tedious, annoying and exhausting. Now that I’ve finally turned over control I’m free to do what I need to do.

It all parallels our relationship with God. We must first realize/discover that He exists. We must then trust Him and turn our lives over so He can do what He promised to do. He is willing and able to help us and make our lives easier but He leaves the choice up to us. The filter asked if I wanted it to sort out the mess and I said no. It only did what I asked it to do. God really wants to help us but He’s waiting for us to ask. He knows we need to learn the hard way that we want and need His help. I was so afraid that I would miss out on something good if I set that filter on but I didn’t. We are so afraid that we’ll miss out on something good if we turn everything over to God. We won’t; He only wants to remove the junk. However one of the problems is when we check God for His accuracy and consistency His ways are so much higher than ours that we can’t judge them. We think “Hey why did You take that relationship or thing from me?” or “I don’t like the way things are going.” when we don’t realize He removed it because it’s really junk even though it looked good. He’s protecting us from a virus. He has knowledge and abilities beyond our conception. Yet He will respect our free will. If you won’t ask God to remove your mess He will let you keep it.

Here’s the message God gave me:

God wants to filter out the spam in your life.

I just added this:

If you won’t ask God to remove your mess He will let you keep it.
